OK, Ive been backing up my movies for a couple years now. Early on I had some really bad luck using crappy media and labels. Now I'm using RiteK media, no labels and burn no faster than 4X using Shrink and Nero. Going tghrough the forums I see graphs using Nero CD-DVD Speed. I have no idea what all that means but you appear to put a lot of stock into the results. I tried to run it on a movie I just did last night and it will not work. The start button is faded out (I guess thats what it is) and it will not start. Nero help is of no help at all. I did install DVD Info Pro but am not sure it rund the same tests as Nero. I ran the PI PO test and and got a 96% result. I assume thats good. I tried to save it to post it here but it would not save anywhere. Is there a guide somewhere for either ? I'd like to know how my movies stack up. Thanks in advance.
Oddly enough I was about to post the same thing. I've backed up a few disc now and I was just curious about the test results at different recording speeds. I tried running cd-dvd speed and get the same faded start button also. If anyone could shed some light on this we would appreciate it.
