What is the date of the firmware on your box now ?? menu system info get the date and post it here.

 

recently my kv box keeps freezing with 'no signal' but when i turn the box on/off it works fine ,problem now is i have to do this frequently evry 12/24hhrs ,what is going on?? is there anything i can do??

 

The problem you seem to be having is either your net or your cable feed, my bet would be on your net feed, try changing your ethernet cable, see does that clear your problem.

Does anybody know if you can get a kryptview 780 remote? Mines seems to have packed in

 

try a logitech remote, you can programme them from their website. I got one for around £30 and I have my sly, KV, dvd and tv programmed into the remote and they work fine, saves having a cluster of remote with kids around.

 

You can buy them on a certain auction website, don't think they cost a lot.

does anyone know if the channels list has been updated since last update. Its just that yesterday i was at my dad house and I was sorting out the kv channel list. i.e. adding all working channels to a favourites list and I came accross the sky livingit, love etc working and also the movies24 working also.
So today I did a factory default on my box and rescanned hoping to catch any frequency changes. but I still dont get the above channels mentioned, yet we are both on the same net id. Was this just a one off?

 

First off the firmware on his box is out of date, april 2011 is the latest file, you can download this direct to your box via the remote control, installation S/W Update, factory default the box then do new scan job done

 

Yes extra channels was added to the list just the list was not updated thats all, feel free to make one and post it.

 

so are these extra channels working? because they aren't for me. i.e. the skyliving and movies24?

They where added but i think they are off at present prob due to testing
