Krypt sly sp channels off, then back on, now off again, Merseyside. Hope i dont miss the footy tomorrow....Oh hang on. Back on now, Jesus.

 

Its going to be like that for a while until they have everything in place i would say so you will have to allow for this for the moment.

 

Been saying this since they came back firstly, they wont listen

Are the kv channels back on? I'm going to put the new firmware on if it's safe to . . . .

Is there an up to date list of channels that are working on the kv780? I done the firmware stuff but got no movies,ssp4, sspnews etc, Thanks

 

did ya reset and re-scan?

 

I done factory default and auto scan.

 

dont think movies are back yet some others still missing also

 

Channels seem to be a bit more stable now ive noticed

 

Keep telling people the update was nothing to do with channels the update was a software update for the stb only nothing more.

i have only scart socket on my tv , and i have the kv box and a sky box so everytime my kv box goes down i switch the scart from th kv box to the sky box , getting bit fed up now , is there any other way i can solve this thanks

 

Doesn't the sly box have 2 scarts, connect KV to 2nd scart, when you turn sly box into standby you should see KV box

Try connecting one of your boxes using rf leads they are the colour coded sockets on the back..

 

or nice and simple buy a scart hub then ya sorted also not a good idea to keep pulling in an out the scart leads you will eventually pull the pins out of the box and then your box will be flucked

 

If your not to bothered about picture quality for now plug the sky box into the RF and the KV via scart, or as suggested above the other way round for a temp fix until you get a hub as mentioned by e45, but you shouldn't fear of the box letting go of pins because it doesn't have any.
