I'd never heard of a xoro 9000, but having googled it, have to say it looks interesting... if you can c***share on it.

Sorry about the mix up.
I think it's pretty similar to the Ariva 150.

I found some firmware that I thought might add a C*** and N****** option but when I tried to load from USB the box didn't recognize it and prevented me from loading.
My box is a 9000+

 

i just googled the xoro9000 box,, ya looks similiar to the ferguson and alma boxes.. im pretty sure it can be used for c/s.. but you need the patched firmware .. i ask about, with regards to the channel list for ferguson arriva 150 .. i got one . but dont no how to upload it to here. michak i think uploaded mine . so maybe ask him. and i still think the ferguson arriva is best box about, especially for irish market

 

I agree with you Pudzy, some folk have had trouble but I've dealt with half a dozen all from different sources and still using c lines with them and all working perfectly. I would be cautious however as Mickah says there is a bad batch somewhere out there. Springtime is grreat!!

Hi, There is a way to recorder from a encrypted channel and see the registration on my computer (in the ariva 150 combo)?? Thanks

 

I've tried this, can playback any recorded free to air channels on pc, but encrypted channels will only playback on the box. Maybe some of the other lads have a workaround.

What's the latest on the ariva 250's with everyone now? Are you all happy or having the odd problem? I'm not doin so bad but have been having a slight issue with one.

My 202e is the dog s bo llocks for the price, wish i had a hundred o them.
Its the most stable in the entry price range I have come across yet.
Not a problem at all.

hi all been setting up my broinlaws ariva 250(in my house) over the last 5 days using my cline,must say no probs got youtube/picassa/weather/youporn etc.no glitching on slysports/movies etc. no freezing, as mickah said i think hes one of the lucky ones to get a good one as i can see alot of people have been unlucky with this box

Not sure if its a bad batch or just poor boxs, but the firmware was always dodgy to begin with, CCAM never worked right on the boxes, not sure if its fixed now as they had old versions of the cams on this box, ya needed to put a proper N Line on, some folks report that they have CCAM running but a lot saying its glitchy, I found on 3 separate boxs this was the case, they are a good FTA box for sat and saorview, but as a box to work a share, its pot luck if ya get a good one, SKYBOX is way better for that and cheaper,

 

I set up a 150 ariva yesterday running an older patched firmware. I have an n line on it and it seems to be running ok, the odd glitch here and there. Should I upgrade to new firmware or would I be better off staying put on current version?

Why fix it if it's not really broken

 

If your line is proper N LIne then it should be OK, its when the box glitches like mad and wont clear and encrypted chan after being on a FTA chan for more than 5 mins, then the fun begins!
