I'd like to make DVDs that have an audio commentary track that I can switch on and off (like commercial DVDs). Right now, I can record the commentary, but when I play back I can't turn it off. So I'm stuck burning a "regular" DVD and then burning one with commentary. Any ideas?

    Thanks,
    Anders

I have added a second audio track to a DVD
Assuming that you have a DVD and a separate AC3 audio track.

I used a program called 'ReJig' (there are others) to demux the the video and audio from the ripped DVD, then used the same program to mux both of the audio tracks to the video.

Run Rejig -> File mode, demux the dvd video and audio. You will have a m2v video file and a AC3 or mpa audio file.

Exit, then select -> DVD Author, add the video and 2 audio files.

The second audio was the same length as the original - so I'm not sure, if in your case that must apply, for the audio to sync with the video.

There is also 'DVDFlick', another freeware program that will add convert AVI to DVD and add audio tracks.
