Dbox In Ireland

Hi Guys, need help please, i've lost all channels on nokia dbox2, tryed to rescan but just will not pick up any channels. i re-installed sportster, scans ok but all channels are mixed up.

When i press the select button all i get is one program per menu, if that makes sense.(sorry if not). Can someone send me Andromeda 2.0 and Blade as i was running Blade Trinity but lost due to pc reformat.

Just slightly off topic here guys but I was reading last week on the net that there is a box you can get similar to the DBox that gives you free broadband. I was wondering if anyone else has heard of it? or what its called?

its a cloned modem,its one of the modems that they use but obviously it has been modified

 

How is it cloned? Can you buy one cloned?

Hello all....I have had issues with my dbox since a few days ago...it started to to freeze then stopped. When I load it up I get no channels, just says unavailable...I am using the sportser image from 2005....I have been able to log-on to my dbox via ftp using xp, however I am not sure how to flash it as I have placed the andremeda image in the tmp folder and follow the below:

6. Using the DBox remote control, press (in this order)

DBOX > SERVICE > SOFTWARE UPDATE > EXPERT FUNCTIONS > WRITE ONE PARTITION >
FLASH WITHOUT BOOTLOADER

Select the Image available (the one you just transferred over from PC) and select YES to flash

The DBox will start to erase existing flash, and write the new one (this will only take a few minutes)
The DBox will reset itself when done, and start up the new image

However when I ftp the file I can't see it in the folder....I also can't get to the root
DBOX > SERVICE > SOFTWARE UPDATE > EXPERT FUNCTIONS > WRITE ONE PARTITION >

On my dbox...I only have DBOX > Service menu?? What am I doing wrong here? Should I be deleting some files from the dbox first to restore it to it's basic setting, it already has neutrino etc on it...

i had a similar problem a while back , I was unplugging the Dbox after i FTP'ed the image, this seemd to delete the image.To "fix" this problem i had to drag my pc down to my tv and ftp the file and then follow the instructions

Are you unplugging your dbox after transfering the file?

 

Dbox's down in Dublin North guys. Anyone else with the same problem? What do we do?

think it is something to do with them sending out bout n1 and n2 and that the cam is trying to read the n2 stream

Im starting to panick, this is the first time ,that my dbox has gone.

 

ya dbox gone all over cork city aswell, public keys are showing though

 

so how do we get it back.

 

we will have to wait until we find out what happened could just be a different keyroll method
