let take off the chip and boot up xbox

 

what do you mean " should it boot like it use to when it was working with the soft mod? "

i mean when i boot it up, my evolution x dasboard should come up or no?

 

with the power button, always do with my other softmodded xbox, and the dashboard comes up, or somtimes i just put game in and using eject button, but both ways work fine!

 

It should boot up like the xbox you back this up.

okay, the same then, since i use same softmodd program with all xboxes i have done, splinter cell and so on!

 

okay, it booted up, no error message, have my dashboard on there now and i put a back up game in, my favourite one, land of the dead, wow, its working again!

 

does it boot?

 

now i have to put chip back into other xbox , and hope it boots up! lol, or i am in shit! lol

so correct me if i am wrong, but all this chip basically did was let me ftp into the hard drive to replace the missing files it needed to boot up!

i have another question for you though, if i back this hard drive up, and make a bootable disc using xboxhdm v1.9 with this back up, i should be able to put in a bigger hard drive then right! without the use of a chip!
