help with old xbox

1 of my friends game me a xbox that he tried moding but screw up can i fix it the xbox sign show up then it gose blank

 

Alot of people break there xbox's by modding. if its softmodding no.

 

Soft mods can be fixed. As a rule of thumb, if you can see the splash screen you can save your box pretty easy. Can you cold boot a game? If so, load the game you modded with and redo the mod.
