Do u not think w need a new mod... maybe someone like cough lethel_B cough. At the moment u go onto the forums and see some dopes which should be banned and are still there a few hours later, (this is not meant to piss mods off, just need more help, as differnt time zones ect.)
yeh, i agree, another forum i use just got a new mod so i started to think about the ol' aD. i totally agree with you that lethal_b would be a great addition to the moderating team.
I have been saying this for a while.. there are simply not enough mods for the users in the forum, with thousands of members, and only 2/3 active mods.. it simply isn't enough IMHO. -Mike

Ok, I could see lethal_b as a mod. But you have a lot of other posters who need to be considered as well. Like ScubaPete, Pulsar, LOCOENG, Alkohol, Auslander, aabbccdd... oh, how 'bout a Girl Mod? Gwendolin would do a helluva job too. Those are just the few I can think of off the top of my head... No offense to Lethal_B, but he has some competition! Really, thats not a bad bunch of people to be competeing with. I agree it might be nice to have a new mod. If they make somone a mod, they have to look at ScubaPete... been around a long time that one... Thats just my opinion though. ;-)
JXP, To be honest, i dont think any of the members you mentioned post enough to be considered. ScubaPete has been around a while and written some EXCELLENT guides but I dont see him post so much now. Mods needs to have the time and patience which i think Lethal has.

what is need are a couple of guys that are retired and can spend more time here, coming on for a hour at a time does not cut it or try doing mod work from your work place... the best help now is to Report an offensive post..and that way a mod can check it out..
Your opinion, and I respect it. However, they ARE all addicts, right? They have posted A LOT. They have all shown a great deal of Knowledge, and an extreme patience for answering the same questions over and over and over and over again. Oh, and one more thought. Wouldn't a promotion to Moderator bring you around a bit more? Even if they weren't around much anymore (which is not true, btw) they still need to be considered. Thats all I am saying. But this not taking a thing away from Lethal, for if the staff here at aD ever decided on making another mod, I am sure he would be in the running, and at the top of list. EDIT - Great point Ireland.
Yeh all the others who you have stated JXP2307 are mod material, its just that Lethal seems to be everywhere.
Thanks for all of the kind words from the above people. However, creaky & darthnip have assured us in another thread that they don't need any more moderators by their side at this moment, and that the best help one can give them is keeping the offensive reports steaming through 'thick & fast' as they say. I think we ought to respect their wishes, and let the Admins decide, the 'if' and the 'when'. Once again guys, thanks for mentioning me, sure is nice to be appreciated ;-)
hmm...i must not be around enough these days. last time i got votes from several members, not just one guess i need to burn the midnight oil again XD creaky, you and the others are doing a fine job. i like things the way they are. f***tards get a chance to get ripped apart before they disappear, and it's lovely things are going quite nicely, in my opinion, and AD is flourishing.

Hi, I think a new mod would be great. One thing to keep in mind is that anyone considered should be generally knowledgeable in more than one area..also they should have at least a year and a half time here (there are a few exceptions). After seeing so many long-termers leave for whatever reasons within the past few months AND so many shooting for addict status it would be hard for everyone to be in agreement with a newly appointed moderator. Yes I agree lethal_b would make a good mod as well as binkie. Lest I forget others as mentioned scubapete, jerry746, rotary, bbmayo, andmerr, aabbccdd and all the old addicts who I have missed. Once the dust settles I'm sure the staff and current mods will make the best decision in choosing whether additional mods are needed. If I recalll correctly I remember darth stating that he and the other mods are due to do a cleanup around the forum so lets all wait while they do their job. Just my 2 cents on the matter.
