Thanks, what I am trying to ascertain is once cookies have been assigned the website after its first use , will the website then open faster then before the cookie was assigned.

 

dont be so sensitive.you shouldve seen some of the responses to my first posts here.lol.post your complete specs tho so we can dig into this further.being a new pc,what operating system is it running and have all the initial updates been installed?to get a definitive answer to a question you have to post as much info as possible.by the way,i am one of the most political persons you could meet.lol

I am not by nature a sensitive person, but have belonged to various boards for about 15 years and was never ridiculed over a question, in fact most boards suggest to ask any question no matter how dumb, just was not expecting that kind of response on a board, I should see all the crazy responses? In 15 years on several boards, I have seen few. As to not giving enough info, that was never even bought up during the comedy routine. What was so hard about the question. FYI, I went to four other boards after this , all responded in a professional manner, without the need for further info. BTW,who are you voting for?

 

we get a bit crazy here sometimes but it is all in good fun.kinda hard to pin down a slow computer without specs.im canadian but it would,in my opinion,be a dark day if that bumhole trump ever got to be president.

Your question was speed of computer.Not web browser & web page caching or web page loading.Until you elaborated more with specifics related to your actual issue nobody knew what you were talking about other than your computer was literally slow hence ddp's first question.

so everything you see on a web page is automatically downloaded to your hard drive.Your computer checks the internet page you want to browse & compares it to one already stored (assume you've viewed that page before) if there are no changes your cached page is shown hence it ill appear to load quickly directly from the hard drive,than if it was a new or different web page which would require a download & time to appear.This is where adblockers & flash block can help if you use firefox or google chrome,by not letting ads,popups etc appear
