I've managed to partly unlock the Nokia 1100, I used a free software to manually enter the code pw+ etc which failed twice then it worked so I inserted a different network sim and hey presto it worked, then I inserted the original sim and got the message sim registration failure. I was told this is not possible but I know different, can anyone help me unlock the Nokia completely without a cable. Thanks
1) What network was your mobile originally working with ? 2) What network did you use to see if it was unlocked ? 3) 'registration failure' usually means that you require a new sim. - try another sim of the same network for testing. 4) what code(s) did you use to 'unlock' your phone ? Please include IMEI, country and network ~ PM me if you wish.
Thanks spencerFw, your right it was a sim card issue the phone was unlocked all along but the 2 sim cards I tried must of expired thanks again this has saved me a few quid .
