I would imagine with the A790 coming out with MMDS support that there is something in the pipeline for Ireland.

 

i would imagine all right but thats about it and i dont see any mmds support for it where is it ?? dont even see the box on sale let alone anything else

Unless you know something i dont also as far as i was aware they sold the 790 in the uk because they ran out of the 780 which makes sence since its not working in ireland they migh as well get some use out of redundant boxes i suppose

Anyone hear anything in relation to when if ever the full switch over to N3 will happen in Ireland?

 

all ready fully N3 now has been for months

 

mmmm its happened mate, true cable is gone and mmds is gone, prob a few pockets left, but thats it,

 

Does that mean K750 + i-connect or K780 both fully loaded will now work.

Last time I saw K750 connected to nthell cable on the old firmware, which was not that long ago, it was still showing 3 or 4 channels which I thought meant that full switchover was not complete.

 

Yes they will ONLY in the UK

the 3 to 4 channels you are prob receiving where prob FTA channels

 

The channels being received came in through cable. Why is it that A780 only works in the U.K..

I thought that what was stopping the K780, with the latest firmware working in Ireland was the fact that we had to wait till the full switchover to N3 was complete.

 

dont work in Ireland because its not set up same as Starview dont work there either
