Problems copying DVD

I have just purhcased an LG super Multi DVD rewriter Double Lyer version. I ahve installed the Nero software. I am having trouble copying DVD's. I am using Memorex DVD + R disks. Each time I try to copy a DVD i get the message the destination disk is not big enough. I know that soem of teh files I am trying to copy are smaller than 4.7GB what am I doing qrong ? Any help gratefully received

 

Without your log the only problem I can see is memorex disks.

 

Do you mean they are the wron type or just not a good make

 

I mean memorex disk normaly sux for quality.

 

Can you please recommend which brand and type please

 

I have the same drive and have had all sorts of problems with nero since I installed it, bad burns error problems.

I put it down to nero as the burns are ok with CloneDVD and software.
