When I go an open Nero 7 and open the cd/dvd speed test......I click on the disc quality and the start button is not highlighted. Why??? Its available to click under the other options like scan, benchnark, etc.
ditto for me; my tdk440N will light the start button but when you click it, it gives the message this drive does not support this action. And my brand new LG GSA 2166 external won't even light the light.No way I can check quality at all. Bummer!
Don't know if this prog will help but is does disc scans and supports some drives that don't work w/ nero: http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/dvd_tools/dvdinfopro.cfm Fortunately all of my drives support the nero cd/dvd test -though I rarely use it.
