Hey I'm having trouble burning DVDs from copy protected DVDs.

Anyone have tips/applications that might work?

Nero can't copy dvd's w/ copy protection. You'll need something like anydvd running in the background. Or you can also rip the dvd's to your hard w/ dvd fab decrypter or dvd decrypter then use recode to encode and burn.

Until you get the hang-of-it, I'd say go with the free programs.
DVDFab Decrypter (I have a habbit of ripping them onto my hard drive using the file method)& DVD Shrink (I select the file where the movie is saved and it opens the entire dvd) are good ones.
DVD Shrink works with your nero, and (as long as you aren't having issues with your nero or system) it will make a near identical copy of the original dvd. Make sure you read the other's posts about burning and guides found throughout this site, and You'll surely be a novice in no time.
