    I have the same problem with my V555. I have tried the instructions atleast 12 times and I still get the same error message. Smoehting just doesn't seem right does it?

    I am using XP with all the latest updates etc.

    I have nothing under modems except my standard modem.
    The devices that pop up when I plug my phone in are:

    Under Motorola USB Device:
    Accessories Interface
    Data Logging MCU Interface
    Test Command Interface


    needs help
