I am trying to convert my avi files into a DVD with menus and all using Nero Vision. Now here is my dilemma. I have a computer with a DVD burner and have no problem making a DVD from this computer. BUT, I am hoping to use my OTHER computer which doesn't have a DVD burner to convert avi files to DVDs (onto the hard drive) as well. However, Nero doesn't see a DVD burner on this computer, so it also doesn't give me the drop-down menus to convert my files to DVD-format. It only lets me do VCD/SVCD. Ultimately, I am trying to use this computer to create DVD files stored on the hard drive, and then later tranferred to my other PC to burn. In essence, I am trying to make the most of my computer to run multiple jobs. Can anyone tell me if there is a workaround using Nero Vision? Thanks!
I know it would be a pain. You could put the burner in the other computer long enough to install nero. Then put it back in the other one.
