soft modding

hey u guys i have everything correct n my mod boots up but i try going on live but dosent let me i need som advice pleease

 

You can't go on live with a softmodded xbox.

oh n dude with the first reply that is 4 mechasault i aint using mechassault am using splinter cell

 

Just use the different file instead of mechassault when transfering from the ndure exploit folder. Instead of using the mechassault file, use the splintercell file.

After that, its all the same.

Hey there. Go to your new dashboard and go to system configuration/system settings and turn static IP OFF. Then scroll the bottom and save it.

Ok, now go to the Microsoft dashboard by pressing eject to boot up the xbox. SOFTMOD - EJECT = RETAIL. It should take you to the - "Xbox Live management screen" and go on Network Setup.

Go to IP addresses and set it to automatic.

Now go to DNS servers and set it to automatic.

Now go to PPOE settings and turn it off.

Then go to advanced and make sure all 3 boxes are empty.

Now it will try to auto connect and if it says successful, you can now get back on live

But I really do hope that you set the softmod to dual boot EJECT = RETAIL. So that when you start the xbox up by pressing the eject button it will take you to the xbox live management screen.

If you cannot access your Microsoft dashboard "Xbox Live management" screen by pressing eject, then I will have to tell you how to uninstall your softmod and re-install it properly.
