Who really cares what your status is. I thought it was all about helping out if you can, or finding information from the resourses available. Posting threads to gain status seems to be an ego thing and not what this site is all about - passing on knowledge for all to benefit!

 

put it this way, iv been lurking round here for about 2 years and never had to ask anything because it could all be found using search. I think iv been signed up for about 2 or 3 months and made about 5 posts, and here you ppl are wingeing about being newbie or junior, who cares??

 

I agree with you on 1 thing jaree1961 the site is to help people or if people need help but, lets say you want to help some one who posted a forum a long time ago (whatever the limit of days is) but your a newbie so you can't. Well no one else knows how to solve his problem but if you PM him other people with the same problem might not be able to find the answer either but you know it but don't want to keep PMing people. So what do you do then??? You become a Jr. Member or Member. Hope that helps.
