I recently modded my original xbox and put in a 300 gig hd. It worked fine for about 2 weeks, but soon after that when I tried to do an account recovery I got this message that says "xbox live not found...check the MTU size or contact your ISP." Has anyone else had this problem? My guess is that my eeprom got banned somehow. Thanks!
no its not banned, if it was banned you would get a message like this xbox has hardware or software modifications restricting it from xbox live or some crap your problem is your modded dash network settings are over riding your non modded dash so you need to set your evoX or UnleashX or whatever settings to DHCP and then change your M$ settings to automatic for DNS and IP and it should work
