hello okay i dont know how i did it but i burned 1.12 GB to a cd-r and theres still space left ! okay i was hoping the experts could give me some insight i took a cd-rw that i had filled and erased twice before and then i split a 1.35 gb file into 2 one 650 mb and the other 502.mb about that much then i went to the cd-r and used nero express to burn the first one to the cd-rw and it didnt work (an error message about no multisession or start multisessino and how some cd-rom readers might not be able to read so i got a cd-r with 680 mb free and tried to burn the first one and the same thing popped up but instead of quitting i started to burn then i got bored at like 7% and said screw it then used windows cd writing wizard to try to burn it it got burned in about half a sec i was like woahthen i saw it said 1.12 gb free and i was like no way then i popped it out and put it back in first it said 0 mb free and then like 10 secs later it said 1.12 gb free so i burned the second file and it took like 10 mins :p then i put it in my dvd drive to see if they were both on there and THEY WERE and fully functional i dont know how i did it but itd be kewl 4 some comments or some insight... thanx

i know how to write 850 MB onto a cd, but this is phenominal, all i can say is try it again...
check the bottom of your disc, see whether there is a purple tinge to its colour, otherwise you have just made a fool of yourself cause its a DVD disc (unless you don't have a DVD Burner)

    check!

that actually is a lil odd... only thing i can think is that rar files u have on yer disc would be 1.09 GB if uncompressed, but that doesnt make sense though. how bout ya right click ya drive the disc is in .. go to properties *the popup with the pie graph* take a screencap and show everyone what that looks like ..

What i find rather strange is, if you know how to put 1.12 gig on a cd, why do you keep asking Phantom69 how he puts 850 mb on his cd's ?....

I have to agree with jAmEsTn, unless you post a printscreen with a properties chart stating how much data is on that cd, i wouldn't believe it either, cause it's physically impossible
