I have read dozens of threads and have tried everything I can find and am still having problems coping DVD's

    My system is:

    Athlon 2500 XP

    1 gig PC DDR 2700

    W2K SP4

    DMA enabled on both channels

    seagate 80g ultra 133 A channel master

    maxtor 120g ulktra 133 A channel slave

    yamaha CD-RW B channel master

    Liteon SOHW-1673S DVD+RW slave

    1 click DVD latest ver

    DVD43Free latest ver

    disable NAV and ZA

WinData 1-8x DVD+RW media and tried verbatium DVD+RW

Apex AD1200 stand alone DVD player

    player will not recognize disk
other player sometimes will but will lockup?

1 click appears to rip successfully (it says copy complete) and appears to burn properly, again it says complete, but disk won't play?

I have tried just the movie alone and with extra's same thing

    Very frustrated

    Thanks for you help

    Ray

hi skiboatsp, what movie r u talking abou?even though i have all those other programs, 1click/dvd43 free, dvd95copy and intervideo/dvd43 are the only ones that have been working 4 me with the sony movies lately. as soon as decrypter gives troubles, and it has lately, i use 1click/dvd43 free and works 98% of the times.

I would rather pay hokeywood for another copy of a movie before I go to XP

W2K has 4 service packs and has most, but certainly not all bugs....I mean features addressed. XP just too much Eye candy Blooooooaated Cooooode

    Thanks again everyone

    1 Click works great.
Made nerly 100 copies and only failed several times.
The times it failed, the original turned out to be bad.
Both DVD43 and AnyDVD work. DVD43 Will re-boot computer intermittantly.
If you want to upgrade your computer and won't pay like stated, use fiel sh__ing.
Also note: Read errors can require cleaning the disk. Major retail rentors say use windex.

One last thing, will the DVDs play in the computer? If so, your stand alone DVD may be unable to play DVD-R or DVD+R media generated on the computer. It may also only support DVD-R or DVD+R. You may have to upgrade your DVD to support DVD R/RW media.
Next generation DVD players will support AVI and start hitting the market in 2006.
