1080p under 37"

    Is it poosible to get a 1080p HDTV which is under 37"? I can't find any :s

    oh i have another question, if i have a HDTV that supports 1080p, does that mean it supports all lower picture formats such as 480p and 720p??

    i have the Samsung LE32R74BDX - 32" Widescreen HD Ready LCD TV - With Freeview. it does 1080 though i can't remember if it's 1080i or 1080p, will have to check it when i'm back home

    The smallest 1080p native display I've seen so far is the Westinghouse LVM-37w3 with a 37" screen. I also haven't seen anything less than 37".

    @creaky:

    Your Samsung's native resolution is 1366 x 768. It does accept 1080i signals but not 1080p:

    cheers. trouble is i'm seeing contradictory stuff on the net re the TV modes so i'll still check when i'm in front of the TV itself with the remote...

    it is however definitely 1366 x 768, i'll take your word if that means it equates to 1080i and not 1080p, i don't know enough of the HD lingo
