I downloaded the free trial (3 movies) version of 1Click DVD COPY and downloaded DVD43FREE the other day. I tried to back-up "TEAM AMERICA : WORLD POLICE." It didn't work . . .

I had previously tried to back it up with DVD X COPY by 321 Studios. But half-way through the burning process, it stopped. It read that an error had ocurred. Then I decided to remove the DVDXCOPY program and install the trial version of 1Click DVD COPY. But during the copying part of that, it had an error in practically the same spot (half-way through the burning process). I thought that 1CLick was supposed to get by the new non-copying objects/sectors the DVD's have now?

Does anyone know what's going on? Has anyone backed up TEAM AMERICA with success? Which what program? THanks . . .

AnyDVD and CloneDVD2. AnyDVD and your favorite ripper/shrinker/burner or DVD Decrypter and you choice of shrinker/burner.

You need AnyDVD, the new version was released today June 2, you can try it free for 21 days. One Click to DVD and AnyDVD are a great tandem. I have done both of those movies with no problems.

    I don't understand your reply.

Are those programs that "should" get by the copy protection?

    Thanks.

i agree that if youe are going to buy any software, anydvd and clonedvd2 are a great choice but, if you don't want to spend money, get dvd decrypter and dvd shrink, the are a better choice in term of quality and they are both free and will handle any movie at this point; just rip the movie to the hard drive with decrypter in file mode and use shrink to do the compression in ISO mode so you can burn with decrypter again. one advice get rig off dvd43 free. i know this process takes a little more time but, it is 98% error proof.

Quality is in the eye of the beholder. IMO, Quality is equivalent if one uses deep analysis with Shrink.

I haven'y done team america but are we there yet has the same type of protection which cause a redunduncy error at the same stage of the process everytime. I like 1click dvd as it is simple. dvd43 has done well for me but for are we there yet I had to uninstall it and go with anydvd v 5.1.1.1 my understanding is that the newest release (v5.2.1) doesn't work either. Why the newest wouldn't I have no clue. Anyway I have v 5.1.1.1 on Kaazza lite it is the 21 day trial but it should work with 1clickdvd. Buy the way I had 1click appear to freeze up on me twice with newer movies; I left it alone and it forced it's way through bad sectors and made the copy after a few extra minutes.

    Hope this helps; Dissones4u

You obviously are miss-informed. Both legal versions of AnyDVD work on this movie.

That is very true. This movie is no problem if you are using Any DVD correctly. You cannot use it together with DVD43free , one of them has to be shut down.

So should I "REMOVE" DVD Shrink and DVD Decrypter and download the newest version of "ANY-DVD?" Will that correctly back-up TEAM AMERICA?

Also - I used DVD SHRINK on TEAM AMERICA and appeared to have worked. It took 4 hours to analyze and encode it. Then I tried to use NERO BURNING ROM to burn it. The burning process completed. But when I tried to play it in my DVD Player (that can play DVD-+R discs), the player read "Can Not Read Disc." My PS2 couldn't read it either. I imagine I made a copy that only my computer could play. How do I make it so I can play it in my dvd home players?

    THANKS guys . . .

My guess is that your media is of low quality. This is usually the case with burns that can only be played on a computer. If you buy your discs in a store, I recommend Verbatim and sometimes Fujifilm is good. If you buy online I recommend Taiyo Yuden from supermediastore.com, rima.com, meritline.com or newegg.com.

    STAY AWAY FROM MEMOREX!!!

You also might be burning too fast. Keep your speed at 4x or below is what's recommended by most.

I think anydvd is the only one at this point that will get this movie. Nothing else has been updated to handle this yet. Anydvd runs in the background and pulls off the encryption as you go. If you use this, you should be able to use DVD Shrink and get this movie.

to seeno182-check anydvd set up,go to feature removal, all boxes checked, drive, all dvd writers boxed checked, programs, check enable anydvd, auto start, auto check for new revisions, show info window for new media.when you put a dvd into your dvd drive wait for a info window to appear then close it,you are now ready to copy.

    I appreciate your efforts, fellas.

I did what you told me to do. I downloaded ANYDVD(newest version) and also got CLONEDVD2. I tried backing up "TEAM AMERICA," just the main movie and not all the extras and stuff, and it WORKED! I'm watching it now on my PS2. I don't know what I'd do if it wasn't for you guys. Thanks a bunch . . .

I tried DVD shrink and DVD Decrypter and neither would work. then I used AnyDVD and it said it worked so I closed the box (it's still running in the background), but it still won't work. I have new versions of everything. Anybody know why it wont work?
