Hi fadaching What media are you using? Like Sony +R 16x. What speed are you burning at? Try 1/2 the rated speed of the disc. How about the drive - firmware up to date? You can post make the make and model and we can check. Try playing back one of these discs in the pc and see if you have the same problem there.
the disc i use are maxell 16x idk what kind of drive it is...came with my comp program is windows dvd maker
@fadaching Drop the burn speed down to 8x or less. To find the make and model of the drive double click on 'my computer' - right click on the dvd drive>properties>hardware. It will be listed there. Post that back and we'll check the firmware.
@fadaching You May even want to change the target size. Go here for a guide. http://webpages.charter.net/bacitup/Guides.htm
idk witch one it is....i right clikced and went to hard ware and this is what is says. WDC WD2500JS-75NCB3 HL-DT-ST DVD+-RW GSA-H31N TG2528X GUD920P SCSI CD ROM DEVICE
It's the middle on - GSA-H31N Here's the latest firmware - B109. It's pretty easy to do and Dell has instructions on the page. Try burning at 1/2 the rated speed. The 16x Maxell if made in Taiwan can be made by CMC and that may be part of your problem with playback. If it's still happening after the firmware update and slowing the burn speed down switch the media to Verbatim, or made in Japan only Fuji, Sony or Maxell.
