Help needed with two firewire ports! The mobo Asus A7n8x-e deluxe (XP pro) has two firewire ports, each working separately fine, finding camcorder and hard disk where ever they are connected. But they are not working at the same time. Camcorder never show up, if there is hard disk - and mostly both disappear and the system freezed for many minutes. Should I see different drivers for each port? The mobo manual says there is integrated MCP southbridge 1394a and Realtek 8801B PHY firewire ports, both are wired. Please help me, need to get the work done!
I believe that they are meant to work separately. How would you capture, from 2 outside sources, at the same time? Even if you could, it would be foolhardy to do so.
