I feel stupid for asking these questions but oh well. my divx player and windows media are playing avi files upside down. how do I fix? divx player won't load an avi file to play, what's wrong? have tride 3 different divx players. thanx
Sounds like your DivX codec is somehow f.cked. Try to re-install the latest version, found from here: http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/video_tools/divx_4_for_windows.cfm
ya you were right. the codec from afterdawn and from divx.com both flipped the image upside down. when I downloaded the codec from divxdigest it worked fine. I'm still an afterdawn loyalist though.
DivX-Digest has the old version of the DivX4 codec -- obviously they've (DivX developers) somehow screwed the DivX3 playback in the latest version of their codec. Hopefully this gets fixed soon. And it's always good to hear tht we have fans
