OK guys, I just want to ask 2 questions about my account. Well, the first question is: Can I change my name from kikzm33z to KiKzM33z? And the seconds question: If my e-mail address didn't work, how do I change it? Do I need to create another account so I can talk to an admin/mod? The only way to change your username is to create a new account. You can change your email address via "My Account" -> "Edit Account Settings".
I mean, if I was suspended due to non-functional e-mail address. How do I change it? Oh, and btfan got his name to BTFan(BTfan -forgot-) by doing something... Maybe I should contact him...
Unless you change your email address before updating the information at AD you shouldn't ever get to that suspension level. As far as changing your name, it's been discussed in the mod lounge before and advice from admin was to simply create a new account as they are too busy to change usernames because someone is unhappy with the one they are currently using. Maybe this is what your buddy did.
Well, I just want to know how to recover my account if I was suspended for a non-working e-mail addy. I know it's possible, but how do you do it?
My account was recently suspended due to E-Mail address issues, as was I believe Binkie7s' (one of the new mods). I simply updated my account with my e-mail that was the problem & normal service was resumed! Possibly a glitch in the system...?
lol - yep I was suspended for a non functional email addy Yeah I don't know if it was a glitch at aD or with my isp. I had to sign in then it just gave me a screen saying something about my email. It gave me an option to change it then I just clicked update (no change in email address) and bang I was no long suspended.
Not a problem kikzm33z I will say it was pretty fast being suspended But just as fast being 'un suspended'.
I think it must be an AD system problem. I was suspended for a "non functioning email" also and I haven't changed my email addy in a number of years....
@bilbo65 I thought it was just me I've had this same email too forever. This is the 1st time this month I've ever had a problem w/it and Afterdawn in almost 3 years @kikzm33z One thing I forgot about earlier on reactivation but was reminded of today Once you get the screen when you try to log into Afterdawn and you click update you'll be sent an activation email. Took less then a minute to receive. Click on the link in the email to reactivate your account.
