2 questions for ya

lookig for a little help please,
2 questions for yis,

first of all....
1. is the Eurovox TX box still working or not on Chorus MMDS (specifically in bettystown/meath area )

2. How do ya "repair" what seems to be a a "bricked" Eurovox TX..

had been reading here that it looked like the box was still working on chorus but I accidently loaded a firmware file into the boot section (using the STBloader !!)

now I cant even get the box to power on.

Can anyone help (urgently before the owner of the box realises what I've done )?

what does it say on the screen on the box?
Have you tried reload the firmware the usual way?
If it doesn't load on the usual way, try flick the power switch off then back on after you hit download.
If that fails the only option is a jtag.

 

Hello mate,

actually, theres nothing at all happening on the box !!
it doesnt even power up !
I'll do a search for the jtag option but if anyone else has any suggestions I'd be very grateful.
