I am realitively new to anything regarding audio compression but have decided to re rip all my cd's (currently about 100 gigs worth of mp3's)and start fresh. I am looking for the best sounding compression format that will also work w/my Creative Nomad jukebox Xen x-tra. Also I have a "Realtek High Definition Audio Unimodem Full-Duplex Audio Device" as identified by Belcar Advisor installed in my computer. Does this support surround sound? I appreciate any help.
