2 quick questions

Hey guys I have two questions for you. How do I merge two xvid clips(cd1,cd2) to backup on a sinle dvd? What software would I need?

ok it depends on what exacly what you want.

you have two options
1. merge both and make it into a dvd - use dvd santa
2. just to make a conbinded Xvid file - go to http://www.divx-digest.com/articles/joinavi.html its got instructions

 

I want to merge both cd1 and cd2 to one file then want to decode to dvd format

 

well download dvd santa 4.00
1.go to video files
2.select hight resolution
3. 4:3 or 16:9 what ever ur tv is
4. I choose pal because im in Australia but i think us is NTSC u better check
5. add media (both cd1 and cd2 of divx)
6.change the output folder to your choice'
7. click create dvd (it will take a long time to do this 2hs or so)
8 when its done it will as u if you want to burn to dvd click yes.
9. now it burnt u can delete the movie off you pc the xvid and the encoded dvd.
