Hi, I've got the following. 24 avi files (size for 1: 350 meg)(size all together: 8,5 Gigabyte). So I thought, that's fine, I buy me a Dual Layer (8,5 Gigabyte). What I forgot for a second, those are not the same 8,5. So I need about 200 Megabyte more on my Dual Layer (Verbatim). So here is my question. I want to put the 24 avi files + .srt subtitle files with a Menu on a DVD. Does anyone know how to do this? And Keep the quality approximately the same? Many Greetings. PS: The files doesn't have all the same size, but there isn't a big difference I have time, so if i have to encode for a while that doesn't matter.
This program will do it for you but unless you keep the episodes to around 4 on a regular DVD, the quality will be terrible, no matter what program you use:http://www.afterdawn.com/guides/archive/vso_convertxtodvd_guide.cfm The only way I know of to maintain quality would be to burn the episodes as data and, then, there would be no menu, you would need a player that recognized them and so would anyone else you lent the disc to.
