26" Westinghouse Image Corruption please help

I know LCDs aren't supposed to have image burn-in problems but every time I turn mine on I see a frozen pixelated mess that eventually turns what is supposed to be my pc desktop into this:

This happens when I turn it on after a while of it being off so the only way to keep this problem from happening is if I always have something displayed so the tv won't go to sleep mode or I used to be able to press my hand up against the screen and force it to return to normal but that doesn't seem to work anymore.

Has anyone ever seen anything like this? I realize there may not be much I can do about it but any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
