Ok, did something STUPID and now I am hoping someone here can help me. I recently lifted a couple of short music videos off a couple of DVD's I own and converted them to play on my iPod. The other night (for some reason) I deleted them from a folder on my PC, emptied the waste basket and then synced my ipod (I thought they were duplicate files I was deleting). Anyway, the upshot is I did not delete duplicate files and I need them back. They are no longer on my PC and 'recuva' does not seem to be able to find them, I should be able to copy them back off my ipod because they are still on there but I just don't seem to be able to find anything on there apart from my photo directory. iPod is running the latest firmware iTunes is the latest version and my OS is Windows Vista (sp2). I am looking for a free way of recovering these files because ultimatly I could just rip them from my DVD's again (but this is a bit of a pain) - Can anyone help?
