Not my choice of components, but the motherboard should be alright. The 9600GT tends to be OK but overpriced, the HD4670 performs similarly and is probably cheaper. The PSU is very poor though. For this build I'd recommend an Antec Earthwatts 380W - don't be fooled by the low price and wattage, it's a far more powerful, and reliable unit than a Winpower '600W' - that could probably barely produce 200W. What happened to your first build?
wow, such a good looking PSU really that crap? lol ok, I will try to get the PSU you said. in my first build, the CPU socket pins on the Asus P5N-D got damaged, am not sure if I did it or it came like that, but anyway, they woulnd't take it back, and I tried and tried.
Unlucky, where'd you order from? (For ref, despite how cheap and basic it is the G31M3-F is still a better board than P5N-D, certainly more reliable, it won't overclock very far if at all though)
Ordered from Micro Direct. am waiting to get a bit more money so I can get maybe the next release of this motherboard for good overclocking, or I might just get this. thanks for all your help^^.
MicroDirect never acknowledge faulty products, ever. They are quite possibly the worst site to buy components in the UK.
Aria are a better store, but my current favourite is ebuyer. Good Power supply, but I don't like the motherboard. I'd recommed a Gigabyte P31-ES3G instead.
@sammorris....i disagree....Eclipse computers coventry are worse.Dirt cheap, but jesus, try taking anything back esp a mobo.
