3 Network Broadband Not working on Xbuntu 8.10 ?

    Hi hello I got a friends laptop and installed xbuntu 8.10 on it.

    Worked fine with my 02 broadbroad HuaweiE220 wireless modem.

    but wont work at all for my mates updated 3 Network Huawei E1550 Modem.

    any help would be great lads thank you how do I fix this problem.

    you should know by now that the place to ask about ubuntu and it's variants is SOMEWHERE PEOPLE USE IT .. the ubuntu forums.

    * knows.. * winmodems from fone companies.. if it's just off the shelf there may not even be any way to run the * thing yet.. ubuntu forums is where you will find out.. not here where the chances of anybody using 3 or xubuntu together are so vanishingly small as to be invisible.
