    WTF?

311's new stuff sounds like crap. Like many other good rock bands from the 90s, they have lost their talent for writing good new music, just like Chili Peppers, Offspring, and Foo Fighters.

The only band still kicking ass making good new music is Green Day

Well, I personally have never heard of these guys and, well, in my personal opinion, that song sucked!!

Maybe their old stuff was better, I don't know, but each to his own I guess.

thats cool. I DJ'd for about 5 years, had a mobile setup with a standard rolling rack, with a computer running win2k. had dual soundcards and dual winamps, so I played my music off that, and just crossfaded with an external mixer. and had dual CD player as backup. I even had a 15" LCD monitor that slip up from the top of the rack behind the mixer...it was a pretty sweet setup. Carver amps and everything.

I used to DJ wedddings...they were the easiest gigs ever. It was the same songs over and over, everyone was always in a good mood, the pay was really good, and best of all, open bar! But now I teach audio production at a local college in LA, haven't DJ'd in about 3 years. Fun times though.

cool man. I had a numark CD player, technics 4 channel mixer, 1 X 10" JBL small speakers, and 2 X 15" JBL towers. I just had a few basic party lights, nothing fancy like yours. I always meant to get a fog machine but never got around to it. Yeah having drunk hot bridesmaids beggin you to play songs never got old...lol

Well, I personally don't like 311's new "Don't Tread on Me" (old stuff was better!) I do like "Thank your lucky stars" and a few other new songs they released.

My personal favorite of their songs is probably "Beautiful Disaster" or "Creatures for a While".

Also, I don't like the new Green Day stuff, its nothing comparied to the old stuff of theirs!
