3gig to 4mb??

    Hi,

    I was told that it was possible to compress a 3 Gig video (.mov) to a 4MB Divx

    Is this possible or was I grossly misinformed?

    Size = length * bitrate, so it may be possible. Depends on the length. Be more possible with XviD since it can use N-VOP's, so if needed you could just skip more and more frames. To have decent quality though at 4MB's you wouldn't want more than say 2mins.

    What piece of software do you recommend I use to perform this conversion?

    Also, I don't need the audio so I don't know if that helps.
