I've been trying to encode a couple of Quake 3 videos a buddy made. I've been successful in doing this, but I've noticed that the video seems to run faster than the audio. I've used both TMPGEnc Plus and WinAVI to encode the video and VirtualDubMod to demux the sound (neither encoder recognized audio). I'm guessing that because he made the videos 40 fps and they are being encoded to 29.97 fps, frames are being dropped or something. I've tried various settings in TMPGEnc (inverse telecine, etc.) without any luck. Is there a way to keep the video from doing this or is it hopeless?
