i have a 400mhz cpu & a LG dvd burner (still in the box) that i just bought. i just realized it requires 2.4Ghz processor. will that work in this cpu but very slowly. i am only looking at using it for backing up movies. how about a P3 866Mhz cpu.
I'm using a 733mhz P3 to burn my dvds with no problems. My advice would be to make sure you have at least 256mb of ram installed and run only the dvd programs; no multi-tasking.
