I am trying to burn Baulder's gate 2. Yes i know its old but my friend wants it. This game has no copyright on any disc. I was wondering if it is possible to burn the 5 discs it comes with onto one dvd. If i do this when it asks for me to insert disc 2 on the installation would it cause a problem being on one dvd.
naw didnt help. that was for doom 3 and i read over and over the same thing. i cant get it to work or there is no sound or it says insert cd. but i didnt see any solution just talk about cracks and such. Something else might help.
How about if you use Alcohol 120% and make a ISO image of each disk. Then take each image and mount it to a virtual drive. Copy all the files in the virtual drives to a DVD. This is how I put a gps mapping program that was on 3 cd's onto one DVD. Not sure if it will work the as good for your game or not.
When I run my gps software it would say to put in disk two or three. With it all on one dvd it no longer ask me to put the different disk in as it's all there on one. I love DVD's

My dvd writer is preaty new to me yet so I'm learning too, but I would think it should work with your game. Use Alcohol 120% to set up the virtual drive. Once you download Alcohol you will see the virtual buttons, make image buttons, etc.... It's preaty easy to use.
i have nero, clonecd, and blindwrite. can i mount a virtual drive with those ---------------------------------------------------- why when i post now i get this stupid advertisement thing.
Nero and CloneCD have virtual drives but they both get blacklisted quite often so they're generally more trouble than they're worth. Daemon Tools is free, rarely gets blacklisted and can mount images made by CloneCD, A120, BlindWrite and more The advertisement posts are a test run - they have nothing to do with your posts specifically
