5 hours to encode and burn a 700mb dvd?

im using
s/w: xilisoft 3
dvd r/wptiarc dvd rw ad-7240s
prosessor:amd athlon(tm) ii x2 245


and it takes me about 5 hours to burn a 700mb avi to a dvd-r

 

Check to see if this is applicable.
It's to check that DMA is enabled on a burner.
