I'm looking for a ATX Motherboard with 5 or 6 pci Slot and 2 pci E Slots at a Price UNDER $100 and thats faster then my old 3800+ 2.4 GHz
A motherboard can't be faster than a processor, they're different things.... As for the features you're looking for, do you mean PCIe 1x or PCIe 16x slots? The former is doable, the latter is impossible, as you'd need a board so large to accomodate them it wouldn't fit in most cases.
NO!!.. Ok lets try this another way is there a motherboard with a Good Video card and gigabyte Lan Speed. that way I can Cut the PCIs in need Down.
All motherboards today have decent gigabit LAN, some not very good boards have integrated graphics, but it's rarely any good, you will want to stick with a PCIe 16x slot graphics card. Were you thinking of using a sound card? Onboard sound is good these days, and failing that, you can get a USB sound card like I did.
Onboard sound is good I've never had a usb sound card. But I don't think I will have space for that because I have a lot of usb plugs for the ports. So what type of motherboard do you prefer with at least 3xPCI
I don't even know if such a thing exists with two PCIe 16x slots - are you using dual graphics? With one PCIe 16x slot I'd go with a Gigabyte P45 board, they have ample USB ports, with a backplate included to use even more.
OK I've Found one that I really Like tell me what you think. Don't forget I'm not a Computer gamer (Only Consoles) so Graphics is not a big issues to me. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131325
I tend to steer people away from cheaper Asus motherboards, that company have made a lot of bad boards in their time, and only the more expensive ones can be trusted. This is a nice inexpensive board that can be trusted, and will do pretty much everything: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128334
WHAT NO HDMI!! My motherboard right now is a Asus A8M2N-LA its a Great Board no Problems just not Fast or Powerful enough for me. But are you sure that the board you pick is better then the one I picked. I was also looking at a Phenom CPU
Integrated HDMI is irrelevant, that board doesn't have onboard graphics, and realistically, you don't want integrated graphics. Cheaper Asus boards don't last, they work for a while, then randomly seem to break, I've owned three that have done just that, and others are famous for it.
Ok I will look into the "GIGABYTE GA-EP31-DS3L LGA" Does it come with the panel that snaps on the back of my case.
I dunno, maybe this one? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813130185 I wouldn't place it above it though, I'd place it as a second choice if you couldn't get the former.
I just Remember that I have Xp Home 32bit and I have a recent backup of my system and these motherboards are all 64bit how will I recover my info.
Just because your motherboard can sdupport a 64-bit processor and may have one installed doesn't mean it is running a 64-bit operating system.
