I have a SV2000 TV/DVD combo WV20D5 Manufactured in 2005. It has set for about a year unplugged. I got it out the other day to use for my game systems and it took me about 20 times of turning it on before it would stay on. I started playing Halo ODST online and after about an hour it shut off and when I would turn it back on it would shut off again after around 2-3 minutes or so. Most fixes is to simply turn the sleep timer off... For me, it's not so simple. I lost the original remote 3 years ago and had been using a universal one to change chanel, volume, etc.. But, it will not access the menu, so, I do not see how it could be anything accessed through the menu such as sleep options. Also, I have never had any other problems with this tv before.
I have this model of the t.v in my home. We are fully satisfied with the results of the T.v and also recommend to other about the us of this t.v model.
