After purchasing my 60gb ipod i realised that i neede to downgrade the firmware can anyone show me the fastes, easiest and most reliable way to do this please also does it have to be on an admin account? Thanks a lot
Download iPod Updater 2005-11-17 from here, which contains the version 1.0 firmware. http://www.megaupload.com/?d=Y44N4BER Once you have downloaded & installed, restore your iPod with it. Job Done, (But your'll have to reload your music on afterwards. No longer than five minutes. Yes, it's a perfectly safe & reliable operation. An administrator account in windows? Well, I have successfully restored an iPod on one of my limited accounts, so as long as you are allowed to install small programs, then you should have no problems.
