62" Toshiba 62HM196

    im lookin at getting this tv in the next weeek but from waht i read toshiba has had a bad run with there lamps. does anyone know if this problem got resolved. also what do you guys think of this set?

    I looked at this unit, and decided to go with Sony SXRD 60A2000, for quality purposes. I also don't like the DLP technology. But then it all boils down to personal preference.

    Is this set 1080p, what is the native resolution? (I don't remember)

    From what I've heard the xxHM195 series sets had problems with the lamps. This was supposedly corrected with the 196 series. However, I haven't heard much about the reliability of the new models.
