    Pioneer DVR 110D
    Nero 6.3.0.3

I tried burning a 120 minute video program with two subtitle tracks(6.0GB program according to Sony DVD Architect where the files were prepared) onto a Ridata Double Layer DVD+R with disappointing results.

    Using "DVD-Video" setting.

"Total Data to be Written": 5,454MB

Nero Disc info reads "Available capacity 8,152MB".
    Book Type: DVD+R Dual Layer

When I try to burn I keep getting:

    "DVD-Video files reallocation started"
"DVD-Video files reallocation completed (no files modifies)"
    "DVD-Video files sorted
"Compilation will not fit onto a blank disc".

I don't understand why a 6GB compilation won't fit onto an 8GB disc. Any help would be appreciated.

    - Nero's too old, update to lates, 6.6.0.16

    - your burner is not being recognised.... as i say, update Nero.

edit - i see you've stated it's a Pioneer 110D. in which case your firmware is out of date already (thought this was quite a new drive) - http://wwwbsc.pioneer.co.jp/product-e/ibs/device_e/dev00001r_e.html

    - exactly what i said in previous comment!

    - DMA needs to be ON, fix it via this - http://home.comcast.net/~bbmayo/FAQ.htm

    - hopefully updating Nero will do the trick

    - do you know what these drivers are ? (i'm inquisitive/nosy, not come across these in Nero logfiles before)

If I am not mistaken, those are USB storage adapter drivers.

Thanks, I could've googled but I'm tired and it would have been cheating.
