I have video in 720p it is 4.36GBs. I want to burn it to a normal DVD which is 4.7GB. Is there any possible way of doing this? No matter how extensive it is.. I REALLY don't want to go out and buy 1 Dual Layer DVD. I'm lookig for a tool similar to DVD Shrink or something.
If it's an .mkv file then FAVC can probably do it. attar, before giving advice we should at least discern if Yuma11111 would like to keep the video at 720p resolution or if it's ok to output at DVD (480p) resolution like your advice offers.
I've read a lot and learned a lot on your site. This is my first topic and I appriciate your posts and will give it a try. Just out of curiosity would you do something different for 720p and with the use on a singel layer 4.7DVD? Thanks again for leading me in the right direction.
The gist of the question, suggested to me that Yuma wanted a video format that could play back on a SD disk from a standalone DVD player. How I choose to infer the unspecified need is my affair. Yuma11111, do you wish to keep the 720p resolution (high definition) and what device will you be playing you file on... DVD, PS3, BD player?

Woooaahh... Talk about grumpy. This is not the first time you have responded in such a way attar. It is a public forum and as such anybody can join in the conversation at any time and belive me, I wouldn't hesitate to speak like this to your face as you suggested. Due to the nature of your post, I now feel the need to speak my mind in order to regain equality which is naturally where we all belong. Just to clarify why I wanted to gain further information from Yuma11111... A normal DVD says to me an optical disc with a capacity of 4.7GB. There is nowhere that mandates that these must be used for SD video content. If the OP had said I want to make a normal DVD video then that would have been a different matter altogether. Now the fact that I was attempting to gain clarification in order for you, I or anybody else to offer the correct information should never be seen as a bad thing. You really should relax more and allow others to help as I would never see this as a problem like you obviously have. I am happy that it was the advice that the OP was looking for.
