762mb File onto 700mb CD-R??

    how can i fit my 762mb .avi file onto my 80mins/700mb CD-R (TDK). I'am using nero 5.5.10.42

    I think 762mb is a little much! The most you can reliably burn on a 700MB disc would be in the ballpark of 720MB. To fit the movie onto the disc you would probably have to do one of the following (the are sortedin order of time to complete)
    - Use larger media (nothin)
    - Clip the beginning and/or credits (<2 minutes)
    - Recompress the audio (<10 minutes)
    - Recompress the video (a long time)
