now this may sound a daft question but my friends box is a clone ,i'm sure of it because i've taken the top off and its the same as the clone one in the guide but here is the weird part the remote is the same as a real one and the software on it is 4.00 (and he has had that running on it for well over two months now (watched every day !) and to top it off it auto updated yestrday now my qustion is should he put the clone software on it or leave on the 4.00 and is it posabble that the bloke he brought it off on flea bay as just renamed the file cheers
If you are sure it is a clone then 2.57_fixed should be installed as with 4.00 on a clone it could die and then need to be jtagged . if you count the vents on top it could help some more to decide 18x7 = clone 25x7 = genuine
